Arla Challenges The People Of Philadelphia To Have A "Simply Better™" National Bagel Day

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Feb. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- To introduce its new, naturally delicious cream cheese, Arla is inviting the city of Philadelphia to celebrate National Bagel Day with a Simply Better™ spread. Arla Cream Cheese is free from artificial flavors, preservatives, thickeners and stabilizers and made with milk that is free of added hormones*.

Since great cream cheese deserves great bagels, Arla is partnering with the city of Philadelphia's Spread Bagelry beginning at 7 a.m. on Feb. 9 to give the first 1,000 in-store customers a FREE Montreal style, wood-oven bagel topped with a generous schmear of Arla Cream Cheese.

Arla Cream Cheese is the perfect solution for adding a flavorful boost to a bagel for breakfast or at anytime during the day. With five delicious flavors: Original, Light, Herbs & Spices, Peppercorn and Blueberry, everyone in the family will have a favorite.

"We believe that Arla cream cheese is what today's consumer is looking for compared to what's currently available in the supermarket dairy aisle," said Don Stohrer, CEO Arla USA. "With less than half the ingredients of other common cream cheese spreads while still delivering great taste, Arla Cream Cheese is an authentically wholesome, delicious way to top your favorite bagel."

For cream cheese lovers who aren't able to visit Spread Bagelry on Tuesday that want to celebrate National Bagel Day, visit ArlaUSA.com to download a $1.00 off coupon and to find a retailer near you.
