Armadin Names Frank Verdecanna Chief Financial Officer

Former Mandiant CFO joins Armadin to build the financial foundation for the company's next phase of growth

PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Armadin, an AI-native cybersecurity company building effective autonomous security, today announced that Frank Verdecanna has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer.

Verdecanna brings more than 30 years of financial leadership in technology and cybersecurity, including 14 years as a chief financial officer. Most recently, he served as Strategic Financial Advisor at Ballistic Ventures, where he guided portfolio companies on fundraising, capital allocation, and financial strategy. His experience includes more than a decade at Mandiant where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer through the company's $5.4 billion acquisition by Google in 2022. Armadin CEO Kevin Mandia founded Mandiant and worked alongside Verdecanna during that period.

Verdecanna joins Armadin as the company builds financial infrastructure to support its next stage of growth, following an industry record $189.9 million Seed and Series A raise and the general availability launch of Armadin Red. In this role, he will lead financial strategy, planning, and operations as Armadin scales its commercial platform and expands across the enterprise market.
