ARRIS Hires Industry Veteran Don Toft to Head Comcast Account Team

SUWANEE, Ga., Dec. 27, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ARRIS (Nasdaq: ARRS) today announced that Don Toft has been hired as Vice President of Sales, with direct responsibility for the Comcast account. In this position, he will lead the ARRIS Comcast account team in providing support to the nation's largest cable MSO in their purchases and deployments of the complete line of ARRIS solutions.

Mr. Toft joins ARRIS from Cisco Systems where he was a Senior Sales Manager on the Global Video Sales Team.  Previously, he managed the Comcast Cable Infrastructure team for eight years. Prior to joining Cisco, Don was a Technical Sales Manager with Comsearch, a wireless engineering firm, where he sold wireless engineering software utilized to build and optimize PCS and Microwave networks.  Mr. Toft is a U.S. Navy veteran and served eight years as a Chief Cryptologist in a CNO sponsored Special Operations Team assigned to the NSA. Don is a16-year technology industry veteran and is regarded as a top leader and trusted advisor to his customers.
