NAPA, Calif., Jan. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the October 25, 2016 Delicato Family Vineyards announcement that Bota Box reached 4 million cases in annual sales, the brand surged another million cases before the end of the year bringing total annual case sales to 5 million. The shipment fulfilled an order placed by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Florida.
Bota Box 3L is the #15 overall wine brand in the US, and is the largest contributor to table wine growth. The Bota Box brand is up +28%, growing 7x as fast as the total table wine category.*
Boxed wine has been gaining continued consumer acceptance with the proven quality, value, and the added benefits of sustainability and convenience. Made at Delicato's certified sustainable winery in California, each 3L box contains the equivalent of four bottles of wine and lasts four weeks.
