Ascent Aerospace Appoints Andy Jones as the new General Manager of Flow Aerospace

SANTA ANA, Calif., April 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ascent Aerospace announced today the appointment of Andy Jones as the General Manager of Flow Aerospace. Flow Aerospace is a part of Ascent Aerospace's Integration & Automaton Group. In his new role, Jones will be responsible for continuing to drive the company's operational and financial performance, as well as expanding on the company's global technological and market leadership. He will also oversee the businesses expansion of the company's aftermarket support business.

Jones has a 16 year record of leadership achievement and demonstrated success in the high-tech robotics, automation, and software industries. His previous experience includes general management, sales and engineering roles related to aerospace robotics, factory and assembly automation, and engineering services. He was recognized for his strategic planning, change leadership and team building skills, and his ability to exceed customer expectations and drive operational improvements.

Previously, Jones held the following positions: Director of General Industries Business Unit for Kawasaki Robotics, Inc; Global Sales Director for Comau's non-automotive industry segments including Aerospace; and as General Manager for Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), a leading robotics and automation engineering service provider.
