AshBritt Supports Overtown Youth Center and Capital Campaign
MIAMI, March 13, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- AshBritt is proud to be a longtime supporter of the Overtown Youth Center (OYC), a year-round youth development agency whose mission promotes the tenets of empowerment, inspiration and enrichment for youth in kindergarten through age 25 and families residing in the Overtown and surrounding communities. Over the last five years, AshBritt and its Chairman have given over $500,000 to the Overtown Youth Center and team members have participated in volunteer days and supported vocational/ technical career path learning opportunities.
AshBritt's Chairman, Randy Perkins, has personally supported OYC for a decade. On February 26 at the OYC Groundbreaking Ceremony, Randy was proud to announce his continued support through a $250,000 contribution to the OYC Capital Campaign, raising funds for OYC's new facility which will significantly expand programming and services for Miami-Dade students and communities. Randy was honored to speak at the event, sharing why he supports the center and encouraging others in the community to join the capital campaign.
