Asia's Top ICT Firms Honored at the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards
SINGAPORE, June 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Frost & Sullivan yesterday honored Asia's top ICT companies at the 12th Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards, held at The Westin Singapore.

Arkadin, Huawei, Smart Axiata, NTT Communications, Telstra, PT Telkomsel, F5 Networks, Teleperformance and Orange Business Services were amongst the companies recognized.
Mr. Andrew Milroy, Senior Vice President, ICT, Frost & Sullivan, Asia Pacific said that for the past 12 years, the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards have identified and recognized the best-in-class companies that demonstrated excellence in the ICT sector.
"We hope that the recognition will allow ICT firms to continue growing their business and spur further achievements," he added.
Mr. Milroy also said that this year, Frost & Sullivan decided to introduce 2 panel sessions, which will allow selected award recipients to share with the audience their views on digital transformation.
"Digital transformation is not a new concept. We have seen numerous industries being transformed by the application of digital technology. For example, digital disruptors such as Google and Yahoo have driven the transformation of the advertising industry. Amazon has driven the digital transformation of the retail industry and more recently it has played a pivotal role in the digital transformation of the IT industry," he noted.
Mr. Milroy said that Frost & Sullivan is choosing to focus on digital transformation due to the high speed at which industries and businesses are today using digital technology to transform their activities. He added that the interplay between cloud computing, big data, mobility and Internet of Things technology is rapidly accelerating the pace of digital transformation across all industries.
"All industries will be transformed by digital technology. These transformations will have an extreme impact not only on the industries themselves but also on societies and economies," he added.
"In addition, digital transformation will affect the way we interact with each other, with our employers and with the organizations that serve us. It will change the way we serve our stakeholders and we manage our businesses," explained Milroy.
The Award recipients were identified based on in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research conducted by Frost & Sullivan's analysts. Companies are typically evaluated on their revenues, market share, capabilities, and overall contribution to the industry in order to identify best practices. The findings of the detailed evaluation were presented to a panel of independent judges comprising influential personalities and leaders in the ICT sector in Asia Pacific, to decide the recipient for each category.
