ASID Opens Material ConneXion Library In Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is excited to announce the official launch of its Material ConneXion Library at the Society's new corporate headquarters in Washington, D.C. The library features 300 samples of innovative materials and products with an emphasis on health and wellness in the built environment. The ASID Material ConneXion Library was made possible through a partnership with the American Chemistry Council (ACC), the library's Founding Sponsor.

The ASID Material ConneXion Library is segmented into eight categories, including polymers, process, naturals, metals, carbon-based, cement-based, ceramics, and glass, and is intended to assist design professionals in selecting and specifying materials for future projects.

The ASID Material ConneXion Library officially opened with an open house on October 18. The library is available for tours and events upon request at www.asid.org.
