NEW YORK, March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ASMALLWORLD, the leading by-invitation global community for cultivated international living, announced today the immediate termination of thousands of memberships worldwide. Following the closing of the site to new members as of March 1st, and the expiration of all outstanding invitation privileges, the site commenced its biggest community clean-up to date.
"We will absolutely not tolerate anyone who makes our members feel uncomfortable," says Sabine Heller, CEO and President of ASMALLWORLD. "Those who breach our trust will be promptly exiled from ASMALLWORLD."
The termination initiative supports ASMALLWORLD's ongoing effort to protect the integrity of its membership, as the company's distinctive nature is the level of trust that allows members to engage comfortably with each other.
ASMALLWORLD reserves the right to review and terminate any member who is seen to undermine its unique spirit of openness.
