Associated Banc-Corp Adds Heise as Chief Risk Officer

GREEN BAY, Wis., April 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Associated Banc-Corp (NASDAQ: ASBC) announced effective April 1, 2011 the appointment of Arthur G. Heise to the newly established role of Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer.  Heise will serve as a member of the company's executive committee.

"As Chief Risk Officer, Art will oversee the company's corporate compliance, loan review, Community Reinvestment Act, and risk and financial crimes functions," said Philip B. Flynn, President and CEO. "Art brings many years of audit and risk management experience to Associated. Heise has more than 30 years of leadership experience in audit and risk management roles in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Associated, he served as Director of Enterprise Risk Services and Enterprise Security Services for U.S. Bancorp. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.  Heise is a licensed Wisconsin Certified Public Accountant, and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
