Association Analytics Names David DeLorenzo, CAE as Chief Operating Officer
DeLorenzo will strengthen operations and refine product implementation as the company continues to expand services in the association market.
WASHINGTON, Feb. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Association Analytics (A2) announced today it has expanded the executive team, naming David DeLorenzo as Chief Operating Officer. DeLorenzo brings to the management team over 20 years' experience in the association space, with over 17 years as a senior IT executive, and most recently held the position of CIO at DelCor. He will be responsible for overseeing A2's operations and product development, helping to lead the strategic direction of the data analytics platform, Acumen, which provides business intelligence to associations.
"I'm thrilled to be joining Association Analytics at a time when the association community is embracing data analytics as a catalyst for change and the company is well-positioned with its products and services to meet this demand," said DeLorenzo. "We are excited to bring our collective experience and expertise to the market to deliver greater insights to business leaders."
The A2 management team is led by CEO, Julie Sciullo, and President and CRO, Mark Lowry, who have made it the company's focus to bring top analytics products to solve the real needs of associations. The addition of DeLorenzo solidifies the company's expertise in the space, and the company is uniquely positioned to bring data analytics to association professionals.
"We've listened closely to the needs of the market and found that getting consistent and trusted data into the hands of decision-makers can be challenging or near impossible," said Sciullo. "That's why we created our product, Acumen, to bring together multiple data sources into a cloud-based platform, creating actionable business intelligence that helps organizations on key business outcomes like improving member engagement, increasing revenue, and lowering operational costs. For any forward-thinking, technology-focused association, Acumen is really a 'must-have' product."
"This is the next big thing," said Lowry, who's leading sales growth for the company. "We've seen the power data analytics can bring to associations to help drive long-term strategies. David is a high-energy leader and a visionary, making him a perfect fit to help us continue to deliver innovative technology solutions and to make sure associations are prepared to get the most out of their data and analytics."
Prior to joining DelCor in 2016, DeLorenzo held multiple executive roles, including Executive Vice President for Information and Communications at the American Urological Association, Chief Digital Officer at the National League of Cities, and Chief Technology Officer of the National Association of College and University Business Officers. DeLorenzo is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), serving as Past Chair of the ASAE Technology Section Council. He is a recognized thought leader, having delivered numerous educational sessions focused on topics that include data analytics, virtualization, disruption, mobile, and digital strategy.
