Assurant Solutions Funds Improvements to Sunrise Community Aquatic Center

MIAMI, Sept. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunrise Community, a national leader in providing residential and rehabilitation services for people with a wide range of intellectual and physical disabilities, recently recognized Assurant Solutions for donating $8,000 to renovate the pool deck at its Aquatic Center in Homestead, Florida. The Sunrise Community's 120-person campus in Homestead provides local people with disabilities the assistance and support they need to live healthier, more active lives.

During the last two decades the Sunrise Community's pool deck suffered thermal expansion damage and excessive wear and tear, rendering the pool virtually unusable for aquatic therapy and other activities. The new pool deck remedies these issues and maintains a significantly lower surface temperature over the summer months, making it safer and more comfortable for use by Sunrise Community's residents and therapists.
