The event will mark the unusual occurrence of combining two Strike Carrier Battle Groups in a comprehensive training evolution supported by 10 aircraft from Airborne Tactical Advantage Company. Pilots and crew from ATAC will provide hundreds of hours of airborne training for the surface crew and Air Wing crews embarked onboard the Navy ships. This trusted and reliable service from ATAC enables current US Navy warfighters to deploy, having accomplished critical readiness training with the former warfighters that make up ATAC's cadre of pilots.
