Atlantic Trust Adds Senior Talent in Washington, D.C.

ATLANTA, July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Atlantic Trust, the private wealth management division of Invesco Ltd. (NYSE: IVZ), announced today that Jason L. Stoneman has joined the firm's Washington, D.C., office as senior vice president and senior relationship manager.

Stoneman will be responsible for working with clients and their advisors to develop and implement investment and estate plans, as well as supporting the business development and overall client service efforts for the Washington, D.C., office.  With this new hire, Atlantic Trust continues to bring talented professionals into key U.S. markets. The Washington, D.C., office is well-positioned to grow, with a strong team of relationship managers, client service professionals and administrative personnel.

Stoneman brings more than eight years of industry experience, joining Atlantic Trust from HighTower Advisors, where he was a director of investment strategies for a team overseeing $1.2 billion in institutional and private client assets. Previously, he was a financial analyst with Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group. In addition, Stoneman served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army for six years prior to beginning his career in financial services. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and received a Master of Business Administration degree from Johns Hopkins University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
