According to the system, all materials used or to be used in the EU are required to be registered by manufacturers and importers. This must be done by way of an evaluation of potential risks from chemical materials to people and the environment. This helps to establish whether authorisation can be granted for the use of these materials.  

Responsible management of hazardous materials

PCP is made up of pre-defined, end-to-end process diagrams and descriptions with associated system configuration and comprehensive information about REACH legislation.
