Attorney Ellen A. Presby Joins Adjunct Faculty at SMU Dedman School of Law

DALLAS, Sept. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- "It's hard to believe I'll be teaching in the same classrooms where I studied 30 years ago," said Ellen A. Presby, a trial attorney and head of the Pharmaceutical department at Nemeroff Law Firm in Dallas. At the firm, Ellen provides skilled legal representation for victims of pharmaceutical injuries and illness. Now, she has the opportunity to use her understanding of the legal field as a product liability instructor for second and third year law students at SMU Dedman School of Law.  

With three decades of legal experience behind her, Ellen is well prepared to teach aspiring legal professionals as they learn about product liability lawsuits. "I'm excited to be able to bring my real-life experience as a trial lawyer into the classroom," she said. Ellen will begin her first course as an adjunct instructor during the spring semester in January.

As a pharmaceutical liability attorney, Ellen is passionate about helping people and fighting for the underdog. When it comes to standing up against Big Pharma, she wants to make sure that the playing field is level between big companies and "the little guy."
