Attorney Ross Perkal Joins Law 4 Small Business as Of Counsel

A recognizable fixture in the New Mexico lawyer scene, Perkal has made a career carefully crafting a legal practice that has served more than 10,000 small and medium sized business clients in his 40 years of practicing law.  His clients have ranged from start- up ventures to some of the fastest growing and most well established business in the Southwest, including six publicly held companies.  With expertise in venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions of going concerns and medical, dental and accounting practices, and retail and service firms, Perkal has been a "go to" attorney for various legal issues confronting these businesses, including when necessary, contested litigation.  Perkal was fortunate to start his career on Wall Street where his clients in a small boutique Wall Street firm included the Ford Foundation, Citibank, General Foods, Equitable Life Insurance and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.  In a move that will continue to utilize Perkal's broad experience and local knowledge, he is now teaming up with Law 4 Small Business to provide additional consulting resources to the Firm, and to receive support and a dedicated team of efficient, cost-conscious, dedicated lawyers to help him continue to serve and assist his select client base.

About Ross Perkal

Ross B. Perkal, an attorney licensed in New Mexico and Colorado, earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Cum Laude from UNM in 1971, and then attended the Anderson School of Business working toward an MBA, before changing his career course and obtaining, a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (Construction Management) from the University of New Mexico, at the same time that he graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico Law School.  As if those three years were not busy enough, Perkal also served as President of ASUNM, the undergraduate student body at UNM, where he broke ground by retaining a professional lobbyist to represent the UNM students' interests at the N.M. Legislature for the first time in history.
