AtWork Group's Jason Leverant Receives Volunteer of the Year Award
American Staffing Association (ASA) presented the first Volunteer of the Year award to President and COO of award-winning national staffing franchise
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Jason Leverant, president and COO of AtWork Group, a top multi-specialty staffing franchise has received the Volunteer of the Year award by the American Staffing Association (ASA). This new awards program recognizes individuals who have been outstanding volunteer contributors on an ASA committee, section policy council, taskforce or working group. The awards were conferred at the ASA annual meeting during Staffing World®, the association's annual convention and expo held in October, in San Diego.
In 2016, Leverant served as a council leader in the ASA industrial section (sections are members-only industry sector communities), a member of the employee safety committee and workers' compensation committee, and chairman of the Tennessee Council. He facilitated a panel, "A.I., Robotics, and the Future of the Staffing Industry," during the Staffing World conference held Oct. 25-27. Leverant is immediate past chairman of the industrial section policy council.

He has worked with the American Staffing Association on a number of fronts, including working to create the ASA Affordable Care Act Cost Calculator for the staffing industry, and was instrumental in rejuvenating the Tennessee Staffing Association, where he served as president.
