Mellody Hobson and George Lucas and Sir Elton John and David Furnish To Be Honored
LOS ANGELES, March 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For the tenth year, Audi of America returns as Presenting Sponsor for the "Backstage at the Geffen" annual fundraiser, March 22, 2015 at the Geffen Playhouse, Westwood, CA. Event will honor Mellody Hobson and George Lucas with the Distinction in Service Award and Sir Elton John and David Furnish with the Distinction in Theater Award. The irreverent evening of laughter, music and stories featuring personal "backstage" memories and songs by a cavalcade of stars will be produced by Vice Chair of the Board and Interim Managing Director, Gil Cates, Jr. David Geffen is Honorary Chair. As part of its ongoing partnership, Audi has donated an exclusive weekend get-away and driving experience for auction, and will be featuring one of its stunning vehicles at the March 22nd event.
