Automation Anywhere IQ Bot Wins "Hot Technology Award" in 2018 IT World Awards

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 26, 2018 Automation Anywhere®, the leader in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), announced today that Network Products Guide, the industry's leading technology research and advisory guide, has named IQ Bot™ a gold winner in the Hot Technology category of the 2018 IT World Awards®. Now in its thirteenth year, Network Products Guide awards are the world's premier information technology awards honoring achievement in every facet of the IT industry.

IQ Bot allows business users to create software bots that leverage AI and machine learning to extract unstructured data from documents, without the help of data scientists or programmers. By combining cognitive abilities with practical, rule-based robotic process automation capabilities, organizations can now quickly automate processes end-to-end and run them independently with minimal human intervention. Built-in computer vision accurately extracts unstructured data from documents for manual processes such as invoices, purchase orders, financial statements and more. With Automation Anywhere's Bot Store – the world's only online bot marketplace – IQ Bot also allows partners and developers to quickly add new pre-trained bots for specialized business processes.

"It is an honor to have IQ Bot named a gold winner by IT World Awards," said Abhijit Kakhandiki, Senior VP, Products and Engineering at Automation Anywhere. "Automation Anywhere is one of the first RPA providers to recognize the need for automating business processes that rely upon unstructured data and to leverage AI to provide a solution that learns from humans, becoming smarter over time. IQ Bot is accomplished at applying human logic to documents and extracting values in the same way a human would, but with instantaneous speed and unprecedented accuracy."

An annual awards program with participation from a broad spectrum of industries, the IT World Awards recognize the world's best in organizational performance, products and services, hot technologies, executives and management teams, successful deployments, product management and engineering, customer satisfaction, and public relations in every area of information technology. More than 80 judges from around the world participated and their average scores determined the 2018 award winners.
