Autonomic Resources Joins Calxeda Trailblazer Program; Ecosystem Dedicated to the Promise of Hyper-Efficient Servers

CARY, N.C., June 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Autonomic Resources, a U.S. Government-only Public and Private Cloud Provider, today announced it is among the first companies to be a member of the Calxeda Trailblazer initiative, an industry ecosystem of companies dedicated to improving server and data center efficiency.

Autonomic is focusing on delivering solutions that assist the GSA in its Sustainability Solutions. Autonomic is adopting technologies to assist Federal Agencies in complying with Executive Order 13514 which requires agencies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase energy efficiencies, among other goals. Given its sustainability focus, it makes perfect sense for Autonomic to be among Calxeda's first Trailblazers.

Autonomic Resources President John Keese indicated the Calxeda technology holds great promise in assisting with Executive Order 13514.
