Autonomic's ARCWRX Solution is Ready to Fill PaaS Void After DISA STAX Sunset

CARY, N.C., Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- With the understanding that the Department of Defense (DOD) is sun-setting DISA STAX, which was offering the government OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat, Autonomic Resources has seen many DOD customers seeking a replacement compliant PaaS with the same features. Also built on OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat, Autonomic Resources' ARCWRX currently has a number of civilian and DOD agencies piloting the Platform as a Service offering. ARCWRX is currently in processing for a FedRAMP JAB authorization and will subsequently be reviewed for a DOD Provisional Authorization.

The Secure Technology Application eXecution (STAX), was a development and middleware solution that ran on DISA RACE, and for a short time became DISA's PaaS solution. STAX provided cloud-based development, test, and production environments that included computing, storage, network infrastructure, and middleware.
