Autonomy Data Protection Solution Passes 10,000 Customer Milestone

CAMBRIDGE, England and SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Autonomy, an HP Company, today announced that over 10,000 businesses are using its LiveVault product for fully managed cloud-based, server data protection, storage, and management. These organizations rely on LiveVault for a turnkey and secure data protection service with offsite backup, long term retention, and disaster recovery in the cloud.

LiveVault backs up more than 37,000 servers and millions of files daily and manages more than nine petabytes of data globally. The product protects data from Windows® and Linux operating systems, Microsoft® Exchange, SQL, and Oracle, as well as recently added support for Network Attached Storage platforms. It also eliminates the complexity and cost of plug-ins or third-party tools.
