Autotask, StorageCraft announce new integration to streamline MSP business processes

DRAPER, Utah, March 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the world's leading hosted IT business management software providers and one of the most trusted names in data backup and disaster recovery announced today the availability of an integration module that gives managed service providers (MSPs) the power to simplify and streamline their business processes leveraging the StorageCraft® Recover-Ability^™  Solution and the Autotask IT Business Management Solution. The integration module allows MSPs to easily automate their billing processes by mapping and synchronizing data from the StorageCraft MSP portal and StorageCraft Cloud Services™ with their Autotask IT Business Management Solution. 

Autotask MSP partners can enable this integration directly from within the StorageCraft MSP portal, giving them convenient access to account and data mapping capabilities for automating and streamlining the process of servicing the backup and disaster recovery needs of their clients. One of the major features is the ability to manage licenses for components of the StorageCraft Recover-Ability Solution, such as StorageCraft ShadowProtect®, and StorageCraft ImageManager^™.

The StorageCraft integration module allows Autotask IT Business Management Solution users to:

• Track StorageCraft licenses and automate billing from within Autotask.
• Map StorageCraft MSP licenses of ShadowProtect, ShadowStream®, intelligent FTP® and HeadStart Restore® to customer accounts.
• Map and analyze account usage and storage space information from StorageCraft Cloud Services and the StorageCraft MSP Portal.
• Synchronize StorageCraft account data for Autotask contracts automatically.
• Create manual and scheduled updates of billing information between the StorageCraft MSP portal and StorageCraft Cloud Services portal and their Autotask solution.
• Synchronize client history for auditing changes.

Currently, the new integration module is only available in the United States and Canada.
