GAINESVILLE, Fla., Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Gainesville Area Innovation Network (GAIN) presented their 5th Annual ShootOut and Cox Awards Dinner on Oct 26th. Of 30 companies applying, sixteen companies were selected to compete in front of a panel of investors, legal experts and entrepreneurs for the coveted TopGun Award at the Harn Museum of Art at the University of Florida Cultural Plaza. AuxThera's compelling Trimauxil technology, a regulated product targeted for companion dog weight loss won $7,000 in cash and prizes and the famous Stetson "Top Gun" hat for the cowboy-themed event.
