Multifunction Turnkey Solution providing Immersive TelePresence, Video / Audio Meeting and Local Presentation capabilities

This unique solution combines state-of-the-art technology from leading audio and video manufacturers with AVI-SPL's experience in providing custom meeting rooms, to create a high-quality immersive multipurpose environment at a price-point affordable for organizations of any size.
Cameleon is the first multifunction solution to combine a fully-immersive TelePresence experience; a high quality, HD videoconferencing solution; crisp, cutting edge audio conferencing; and local, multimedia presentation and display ability in one easy to use system. Cameleon's intuitive graphical user interface allows even first-time users to easily host a TelePresence, video / audio meeting, or local presentation with just a few touches.
Unlike existing TelePresence solutions that have strict room and environment requirements, Cameleon requires no expensive room construction and can easily be adjusted to fit to most existing environments. Cameleon is a customer-driven solution, as it is designed to be adaptable to a variety of requirements, including adding a second participant row; automated room control for lighting, shades and climate; additional presentation sources such as DVD players and document cameras; and even different color finishes to match existing office decor.
In addition to the affordable price and multifunction capability, Cameleon delivers a high-quality experience through cutting-edge technology. Equipped with three 60" LCD displays supporting up to 1080p resolution, fully integrated digital audio, content sharing ability, specialized furniture design and industry-leading video codecs, users can easily experience life size face-to-face communication via TelePresence or have a local meeting with peers.

Initial shipment of Cameleon Polycom and Cameleon LifeSize versions, is scheduled for October 1. Additional manufacturer versions are planned for release in the following months. Cameleon demonstrations are currently available at AVI-SPL's Video Briefing Center (VBC) in Chicago with additional VBC locations planned in the U.S. over the next few months.
