AVX Learning LLC Acquires Adayana Government Group

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Jan. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AVX Learning LLC announced the acquisition of Adayana Government Group (AGG), a human capital training and consulting company headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia.

For over 17 years, VERTEX Solutions, doing business as the Adayana Government Group, has provided high-end custom training, serious gaming, simulation, communication and learning consulting services to help Federal agencies solve their most pressing human capital and learning challenges.

AVX Learning LLC is a subsidiary of AVX Holdings, Inc., a portfolio company of West Palm Beach, Fla.-based private lending firm Comvest Capital ("Comvest"), a longtime lender to AGG.

The new ownership will also bring new leadership to Adayana Government Group. Alan Kessman will now serve as Chairman of the Board of AGG. Kessman is an Operating Partner at Comvest and previously was the CEO of Custom Cable Industries, ISOETEC Communications, Inc. Executone Information Systems, Inc., and Vion Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
