Award-Winning Director and Writer Kayden Kross Launches Gasplighting - A Cultural Project Exploring Body Literacy, Intimacy, and the Stories We've Been Told

Through forthcoming 'Conversations With', coffee table book and immersive gallery experience, Gasplighting invites audiences to rethink how cultural narratives shape desire, identity, and human connection

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Award-winning director, writer, creative visionary and founder of Deeper and Milfy, Kayden Kross today announced the launch of Gasplighting, a multidisciplinary cultural project challenging the narratives that have shaped how people understand their own bodies, sexuality, and intimate experiences.

Combining psychology, philosophy, visual storytelling, and cultural commentary, Gasplighting examines the disconnect between lived experience and the societal messages people receive about desire, pleasure, vulnerability, autonomy and connection. Rather than prescribing answers, the project invites audiences to question long-held assumptions and engage in a more honest, nuanced conversation about intimacy as foundational to the human experience. In collaboration with the Deeper brand, Gasplighting will surface these themes through the lens of genuine conversation, connection and adult art.

The project will come to life through Deeper, a visually driven coffee table book retrospective of Kross's creative vision and narratives under the Deeper umbrella, alongside a multi-sensory gallery experience at Wonzimer Gallery in downtown Los Angeles on October 16 and 17 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The two-night exhibition will translate the themes of Gasplighting into immersive art designed to encourage reflection, conversation and connection.
