Award-Winning Event App Impresses Judges Internationally

FOREST HILL, Md., Feb. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Event Technology Management Software provider, CadmiumCD, has been chosen as a finalist in this year's Global EvenTex Awards for their eventScribe Mobile App. Previous EvenTex award participants and winners include brands such as Google, Microsoft, and Cisco.

In September of 2015, CadmiumCD launched eventScribe 2.0, which features a sleek customizable tile home screen, sponsorship opportunities, downloadable presentations, and features that could link to content within the app or external webpages. In addition, the eventScribe App is now equipped with a sophisticated Audience Response System component that allows speakers and attendees to ask questions, conduct live polls, share notes, and connect through social media.  The power of the eventScribe App is also emphasized by how content is populated into the App, with a strong back end content management system called the Conference Harvester.   

The eventScribe App was first launched in 2011, as the attendee component of CadmiumCD's fully integrated event management platform. Back then, it was just a simple note-taking app that could be used in conjunction with an online pre-conference itinerary planner. Attendees could log in, view the conference schedule, and create their own custom itinerary based on their favorited selections.   Over 5 years, eventScribe has evolved to be the premiere conference education app, specializing in delivering educational content to conference attendees and enhancing their total event experience.
