Building on nearly four decades of expansion and a strong position in Canada's automotive retail industry, including its standing as the largest Mercedes-Benz retailer in Canada by volume, the Group is further strengthening its leadership structure to support portfolio growth, drive operational performance and enhance its position as one of the country's leading automotive groups.

The COO appointment puts dedicated operational leadership behind the next phase of AWIN's growth, raising performance standards across the network and scaling the infrastructure that continued portfolio expansion demands.

In this executive role, Braun will direct the group's day-to-day operations and execute AWIN's growth strategy, focusing on the successful integration of new acquisitions and building the scalable systems necessary to support the network's expansion.

Braun brings more than 25 years of international automotive leadership experience to AWIN, including two national chief executive roles with one of the world's premier automotive manufacturers. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of BMW Group Latin America, based in Mexico City. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of BMW Group Canada, beginning in January 2020, where he led the national organization very successful through pandemic-era production constraints and global supply chain shortages while preparing the retail network for BMW's next generation of electric vehicles. Braun joined BMW in 1999 and held senior sales and marketing roles across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and China.
