AXS TV Acquires The Reality Adventure Series 'Exploring Kaman,' Starring NBA All-Star Chris Kaman, Premiering Wednesday, August 5 At 11pE

LOS ANGELES, July 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AXS TV is expanding its programming lineup, bringing the popular web series EXPLORING KAMAN (a GRLA production) to television for the first time ever on Wednesday, August 5 at 11pE. The network will air a new episode of the six-part series each week, chronicling fan-favorite NBA All-Star Chris Kaman as he and his eccentric entourage head out on an epic fishing trip to capture the elusive blue marlin. There's only one problem: They have no idea what they're doing.

An avid sportsman, Kaman frequently spends the offseason hunting and fishing around the country. However, there's one trophy he has yet to add to his wall: the blue marlin, sport fishing's most sought-after treasure. Armed with a yacht full of family and friends, Kaman sails to Central America in search of his prize. But strong personalities, a nasty bout of seasickness, and a general lack of know-how ensure that there is anything but smooth seas ahead.

Throughout the six-week run, the series gives viewers a front-row seat on this one-of-a-kind adventure, as the NBA big man and his buddies catch a 20-pound tuna in Cabo San Lucas; romance local senoritas… with disastrous results; and deal with bruised egos, clogged toilets, and more, as they attempt to reel in a 1,000-pound marlin while keeping their friendship—and sanity—intact.
