AXS TV's 'THE WORLD'S GREATEST TRIBUTE BANDS' Fourth Season Premieres September 9 At 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The tribute band phenomenon returns to AXS TV–cable's premier music entertainment channel–September 9 for the fourth season premiere of THE WORLD'S GREATEST TRIBUTE BANDS, a weekly live concert series celebrating the music from iconic artists in history. Host and executive producer Katie Daryl introduces an all-new lineup of tribute bands, performing live each week from the world famous Whisky A Go-Go club in Hollywood. The season kicks off with acclaimed Elvis Presley tribute artist Justin Shandor on September 9 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT in a special, 90-minute tribute to the "King of Rock and Roll."

In addition to classic rock favorites such as Pyromania: a Tribute to Def Leppard (Sep. 16), Dog N Butterfly: a Tribute to Heart (Oct. 7), and Fan Halen: a Tribute to Van Halen (Oct. 14), this season of THE WORLD'S GREATEST TRIBUTE BANDS gives viewers a two-for-one special Sept. 30 as the music of Billy Joel and Elton John is performed dueling pianos-style by "Billy Joel 2 Elton John." Other special episodes include "Ozzmania," who take the stage Oct. 28, just in time for Halloween, to pay tribute to Ozzy Osborne and Black Sabbath, and "Bostyx" (Nov. 4) as one group captures the sounds of two epic bands: Boston and Styx.

"This season, we will not only deliver another full line-up of amazing tribute bands, but we've also mixed things up, offering incredible music experiences that could only happen through the power of the tribute," said Daryl.
