AXTEL Mexico prepares transition to IMS With StreamWIDE Call Completion Services Platform

LYNDHURST, New Jersey, Sept. 25,2012 /PRNewswire/ -- StreamWIDE (FR0010528059 – ALSTW), the specialist in next generation value-added telephony solutions for telecom operators announced that its Call Completion Services Platform has been selected by AXTEL, a Mexican telecommunications company that provides Information and Communications Technology Solutions to over 1.5 million residential and business RGUs (Revenue Generating Units).

The choice of StreamWIDE's natively SIP-based software solution perfectly aligns with AXTEL's network evolution strategy. The previous legacy voicemail platform could not meet mandatory requirements for future network architecture and connectivity; additionally, it was threatened by obsolescence. Since StreamWIDE assumed live operations during the first quarter of 2012, AXTEL's customers have benefited from uninterrupted service and AXTEL is now optimizing its traffic routing on an IP environment.
