Azure Dynamics Signs Sales/Service Agreements With 76 Dealerships

Program now includes 103 dealerships across North America to represent Azure with
sales and/or service agreements; most dealers to stock ready-to-deliver vehicles

OAK PARK, MI, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ - Azure Dynamics Corporation (TSX: AZD)(OTC: AZDDF) ("Azure" or the "Company"), a world leader in the development and production of hybrid electric and electric components and powertrain systems for commercial vehicles, today announced that it has signed agreements with 76 additional dealerships to represent Azure's innovative products including the Transit Connect Electric and the Balance^TM Hybrid Electric in key markets across North America.

The new agreements bring the total number of dealerships in the Azure program to 103. The dealerships are part of Azure's channel distribution strategy which involves establishing partnerships with dealerships, body vendors, leasing agencies and other customer-facing businesses to represent (sell and/or service) Azure products to current and potential customers. Many of the new dealerships will maintain an inventory of ready-to-deliver Ford Transit Connect Electric vans and/or Balance^TM Hybrid Electric cube vans and walk-in vans.
