B3 Appoints New Director of Product

DENVER, Nov. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- B3 today announced that Rob Bruant has joined the Denver-based water data and analytics company as its new Director of Product. Mr. Bruant joins B3 from one of the largest independent exploration and production companies, Pioneer Natural Resources, where he served as Strategy and Subsurface Manager for Pioneer Water Management.

Mr. Bruant will be responsible for B3's growing suite of oilfield water intelligence products, which include its data platform for the oilfield water lifecycle. In addition to providing new analytical capabilities for the B3 platform, B3 is also expanding into new geographic regions and embarking on an ambitious collaborative study of Permian water management issues.

Mr. Bruant has worked in the energy industry for the past 15 years, beginning at BP, followed by Pioneer Natural Resources. During this time, he served in a variety of roles including Manager, Reservoir Engineer, and Petroleum Systems Analyst. Previously, Mr. Bruant held positions of Instructor and Research Associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Princeton University, focusing on carbon sequestration and groundwater remediation. He received a B.A. in Geosciences from Franklin and Marshall College and a Ph.D. in Hydrology from The University of Arizona. He is currently pursuing a M.B.A. at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. Mr. Bruant serves on the Board of Directors for the Produced Water Society. He is also membership chairperson for SPE's Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Sequestration Technical Section.
