Six hundred pounds of bacon were served at this year's event while raising $40,000 for supported charities. Ball of the Bash is a five course wine dinner with each course featuring a different bacon dish. This year, 120 attendees enjoyed the evening and raised $17,500 for supported charities.
Bacon Bash Texas also supports Niki Warms the Cold, an organization that distributes coats and blankets each winter to homeless people across the state of Texas. Bacon Bash hosts a coat and blanket drive at their October event in addition to donating a portion of event proceeds to help purchase additional winter gear for the homeless.
