Bacula Systems Releases Linux Bare Metal Restore Feature

Bacula Systems^®, the world's leading provider of commercial open source backup and restore software, announced today the availability of its Linux bare metal restore feature, adding fast and complete disaster recovery capability to its Bacula Enterprise Edition 4.0^[TM]. It also complements Bacula Systems' existing bare metal recovery for Windows systems.

The Linux Bare Metal Restore capability is available with Bacula Enterprise Edition for a small additional cost. It supports LVM, software raid (mdadm), provides the ability to clone machines, and can be used for physical to virtual or virtual to physical restore.
