Bain & Company announces strategic partnership with Terralytiq to help companies accelerate supply chain decarbonization

Enhanced AI capabilities enable clients to optimize their supply chain for carbon and costs, and capture the commercial upside of delivering lower carbon products

BOSTON, June 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Bain & Company, a leading global management consulting firm, today announced a strategic partnership with Terralytiq, a supply chain decarbonization intelligence solutions provider with a mission to reduce one billion tons of industry emissions by 2030.

The partnership pairs Bain's deep industry expertise in strategic advisory and business transformation with Terralytiq's ability to deliver advanced decarbonization analytics, as companies around the world contend with how to lower emissions, particularly Scope 3, and achieve 2030 near-term targets.

Building on a track record of joint client success since 2023, this announcement marks a new phase in the relationship between Bain and Terralytiq with a focus on deploying the latest AI-enabled capabilities to optimize clients' supply chains for carbon and cost, and to use the latest product carbon footprinting approach to help clients measure and capture commercial opportunities from low carbon products.

Together, Bain and Terralytiq will jointly support clients and co-develop a set of enhanced offerings backed by Terralytiq's AI-driven Scope 3 intelligence platform and decarbonization copilot. This will provide companies with the capabilities needed to identify emissions reductions at a granular level, create supplier- and facility-specific product carbon footprints based on procurement data, and automate supplier outreach and eliminate months of manual data collection, reducing the time needed between planning and execution.
