Banc of California Announces Hiring of James Wiegandt as Managing Director, Commercial Real Estate and Multifamily Banking

SANTA ANA, Calif., Nov. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Banc of California today announced it has hired James Wiegandt as Managing Director, Commercial Real Estate and Multifamily Banking.  Mr. Wiegandt joins Banc of California from Luther Burbank Savings, where he most recently served as Director of Retail Income Property Lending with 24 years of banking experience, including considerable expertise in commercial real estate lending focused primarily in Southern California.

Mr. Wiegandt will lead Banc of California's strategies focused on Commercial Real Estate Banking opportunities, with responsibility for commercial real estate and multifamily banking and lending products.  Previously he served as Executive Director, Commercial Lending at JPMorgan Chase for over 10 years.  Mr. Wiegandt holds a B.A. in Public Affairs from San Diego State University and has attended the Pacific Coast Banking School's Graduate School of Banking.

Additionally, the Company announced the hiring of Warren Ramsey as Senior Director of Commercial Real Estate Lending.  Mr. Ramsey joins from Luther Burbank Savings where he served as Income Property Loan Officer.  Previously he worked with JPMorgan Chase and Washington Mutual, and brings 13 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Lending, focused on Multifamily Lending in Southern California.  Mr. Ramsey holds a B.S. in Public Affairs Management from Indiana University – Bloomington.

Mr. Ramsey joins the existing team which includes senior bankers, Tom Senske and David Ghannadi.  Mr. Senske will continue to serve in business development and relationship management as Senior Director, Multifamily Commercial Real Estate Banking.  Mr. Ghannadi, Senior Director, Commercial Real Estate Banking, continues to lead the efforts focused on Investor Commercial Real Estate Banking activities.
