Bandai America To Launch Complete Line Of Toys Based On New Animated Series 'Pac-Man And The Ghostly Adventures' At American International Toy Fair

CYPRESS, Calif., Feb. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. and Bandai America Incorporated have joined to bring one of the most recognizable video game characters* to toy shelves this fall.  A new animated series in 3D CGI animation will debut on September 7, 2013 on the Disney XD network.  The toys, based on the series, will debut at the American International Toy Fair, Feb. 10 -13 at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and will be available at retail stores this fall.

Introduced as a video game character 33 years ago, Pac-Man is back in a computer-animated television series on Disney XD. The series is being produced by Avi Arad and features Pac-Man saving Pac-World while attending High School. Each adventure follows Pac and his two best friends as they try to return the ghosts to the Netherworld and save Pac-World.
