SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of the West today announces a new cash back credit card that rewards shoppers with unlimited cash back on all of their purchases. With the Bank of the West Cash Back Mastercard, customers earn three percent cash back on dining, groceries, and gasoline as well as one percent cash back on all other purchases.
There's no annual fee and no limit on the cash a customer can earn. The cash back rewards are automatically credited to the customer's credit card account, so there's no need to call or go online to get cash earned. The cash back simply lowers the customer's bill every three months.
"We listened to our customers and they asked for a card that comes with high levels of cash back, that is easy to understand and easy to use," said Paul Appleton, executive vice president, Head of Products and Payment Solutions at Bank of the West. "Just in time for the holiday shopping season—whether customers are out buying gifts, stocking the fridge with groceries, dining out with friends, or filling the gas tank for the holiday drive home— this card helps them save a little extra as they pay for the day-to-day needs during this festive season and year-round."
For example, by spending a total of $3,000 per month, including $800 on dining, groceries and gas and $2,200 on other expenses, a customer would earn $552 in cash back annually.
