Bank of the West Launches Any Deposit Checking Across Its Entire 19-State Branch Footprint

SAN FRANCISCO, June 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of the West today launches Any Deposit Checking, a new checking account that offers no monthly service charge when a deposit1 of any amount using any channel (branch, ATM, mobile, or direct deposit) is made. No minimum balance or direct deposit is required. For customers under 25 years of age, the monthly service charge ($10) is waived automatically, with no deposit necessary2.

The account comes with digital capabilities like mobile banking and mobile deposit in addition to an Overdraft Fee Eraser3, the Bank's overdraft relief feature that allows customers to request one overdraft fee refund each year.
"Employees of small businesses, self-employed individuals, and younger customers may not have access to payroll direct deposit, which at many banks means you pay a monthly service charge," said Appleton.
