Bank Street Holdings Launches Principal Investment Business

STAMFORD, Conn., Jan. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank Street Holdings, the parent company of Bank Street Group, a boutique investment banking firm, is pleased to announce the formation of Bank Street Capital Partners (BSCP).  BSCP is focused on investment opportunities in growth sectors of the economy, most notably in the Communications, Media and Technology sectors in the US and abroad.  BSCP will be led by Ted Mocarski, who brings 17 years of private equity experience as a senior investment professional, having invested in over 30 companies during his successful career.

Previously, Ted was a co-founder and Managing Director of Key Venture Partners.  Prior to Key, Ted was a Managing Director of Nautic Partners where he was responsible for spearheading the firm's investment efforts in the Communication and Internet Services sectors.  During his career, Ted has invested through numerous economic cycles, generating substantial returns for his partners and investors in portfolio companies such as 365 Main, Dobson Communications, MJD Communications, Exodus, Integra Telecom, Interxion, OpSource, Optasite, and PrairieWave.  Ted currently sits on the boards of Espial, a Canadian IPTV company, and Stelera Wireless, a wireless broadband operator in the United States.
