Bankers Healthcare Group Joins Forces with the American Heart Association and Broward PULSE

SOUTHWEST RANCHES, Fla., Feb. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bankers Healthcare Group recently teamed up with the American Heart Association and Broward PULSE in the fight against heart disease. BHG joined on as the "Social Spark" to power the social media presence for the annual PULSE Red Party on February 15 in Fort Lauderdale. More than 400 PULSE supporters attended this year's event, helping to raise $180,000.

PULSE is the young professional arm of the American Heart Association of Broward County. In addition to their fundraising efforts, PULSE members promote heart health through various activities focused on fitness and nutrition. Since its inception in 2011, the group has raised nearly $400,000 to combat childhood obesity and congenital heart defects through the Open Your Heart campaign.
