Bark TV Announces Winners of the First Barkademy Awards

NORTH HAVEN, Conn, Aug. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Bark TV, a multiplatform channel featuring 24-hour-a-day programming dedicated exclusively to dog lovers, has announced the winners of the first Barkademy Awards. This program was launched to shine a spotlight on the cutest and most entertaining pups on the planet.

The winners of the 2025 Barkademy Awards are:

• Cutest: Ginger, a boxer from Mesa, Arizona, who was rescued from a bad situation and is now living her best life
• Best Trick: Suki, a Labrador mix from Hainesport, New Jersey, who can fetch a ball six feet under water
• Bark of the Year: Charlie, a cockapoo from Fayetteville, Georgia, who, according to his owner, "whines and whines when I turn off Bark TV to go nite nite"
• Twinning: Bootsy, a pug from Albany, New York, whose face seemingly melds together with his owner's in photographs
• Pup Culture: Perro Caliente, a mini longhair Dachshund from Newington, Connecticut, with a striking resemblance to Lin Manuel Miranda in Hamilton

Winners will also be announced on Bark TV, and the segment will be broadcast to millions of loyal viewers, and their owners! Bark TV is a mix of original programming and licensed television series that can be found on Xumo, Dish, Sling TV, Local Now, DistroTV and more.
