Barkhouse Announces New York City's First-Ever Dog Fashion Week

Four days of designer pop-ups culminate in an exclusive runway show, presented by Fetch Pet Insurance and Maev.

NEW YORK, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Barkhouse, an elevated dog daycare concept in Chelsea, announces Dog Fashion Week, the industry's first-ever fashion week dedicated to dog fashion. Running September 8–12, 2026, the week brings together four top dog fashion brands for a series of onsite activations, building up to a runway finale unlike anything New York's dog community has seen before.

Opening just nine months ago, Barkhouse has become a gathering place for Chelsea's dog parents, built around the belief that dogs deserve the same thoughtfulness and hospitality their owners expect for themselves. With more than 700 users, community has become the heartbeat of the business, and Dog Fashion Week is its most momentous expression yet.

THE POP-UPS: SEPTEMBER 8–11

Each day of the week, Barkhouse will host a pop-up from a leading dog fashion label, giving members an exclusive look at the brands' pieces alongside interactive activities. Brands include: Little Beast, By Teddy, Pawelier, and 1ER.

THE FINALE: THE DOGWALK FASHION SHOW, SEPTEMBER 12

Dogwalk Fashion Show presented by Fetch Pet Insurance and Maev is inspired by the unmatched energy of New York Fashion Week itself. Barkhouse's 50-foot runway will be transformed into a lush, green garden, designed by Theresa Rivera, the NYC-based set designer.

The runway will feature dog-and-human pairs walking in looks styled by the viral vintage dealer, Gianna Corvino, founder of The NY Archive.
