Barneys New York Announces New Credit Card Program and Influencer Tier

NEW YORK, Sept. 5,  2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Barneys New York, the luxury specialty retailer, announces today the launch of the new Barneys New York credit card program, including enhanced benefits for all cardmembers and the newly established Influencer tier with additional luxury access and incentives for an exclusive group of top customers.

The new program expands on the already successful platform of My Barneys Bag, which offers cardmembers reward points at a 1 to 5 % back based on annual spend. Cardmembers receive exclusive benefits including; complimentary valet, wine, shipping and in-store beauty and skin care treatments, as well as, alterations credits, a dedicated phone number for personal shopping and exclusive access to Barneys New York online and in-store events.

The Influencer tier represents a group of important Barneys New York customers offered exclusive access and incentives through the enhanced program. Influencers will receive a new sleek black metal credit card with a special Influencer icon and a host of new premium benefits offered through exclusive partnerships with The Leading Hotels of the World, the largest luxury hotel collection with more than 430 of the world's greatest properties in over 80 countries; Exclusive Resorts®, the world's leading luxury destination club that boasts more than 350 multi-million dollar residences in over 60 global destinations; and EmpireCLSTM Worldwide Chauffeured Services. Through these partnerships, Influencer cardmembers will receive a one- year complimentary Unlimited Leaders Club membership* for The Leading Hotels of the World, a 3-night complimentary stay* and a membership discount** with Exclusive Resorts, as well as travel credits and preferred rates* with EmpireCLSTM Worldwide Chauffeured Services.
