RESTON, Va., March 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul A. Pagnato, Founder and CEO at PagnatoKarp, has been ranked #3 in Virginia on Barron's Top 1,200 Advisors for 2018. The annual ranking is Barron's largest, most comprehensive listing, encompassing financial advisors from all over the nation, from small independent advisors to big Wall Street firms. This is Pagnato's eighth time appearing on Barron's prestigious advisors list.

"At PagnatoKarp, our True Fiduciary™ Standards are focused on the best interests of our clients, not our firm," says Pagnato. "With strategies aimed at asset protection, cost reduction, and unique opportunities, we put our efforts into helping individuals and families to flourish."

Paul Pagnato is currently ranked #19 on Barron's Top Independent Advisors, #30 on Forbes America's Top Wealth Advisors, and #2 in Virginia on Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors lists. Additionally, PagnatoKarp was crowned 'BEST MULTI-FAMILY OFFICE (New Entrant)' at the Family Wealth Report Awards 2018. The True Fiduciary™ Family Office was showcased as a preeminent player in the competitive family office space by winning one of the coveted top awards.

According to Barron's, "This special report names the top advisors in each state, with the number of ranking spots determined by each state's population and wealth. Rankings are based on assets under management, revenues generated by advisors for their firms, and the quality of the advisors' practices. Investment performance isn't an explicit criterion because performance is often a function of each client's appetite for risk. In our evaluations, we examine regulatory records, internal company documents, and 100-plus points of data provided by the advisors themselves."
