Basefarm Deploys Nimsoft Monitoring Solution to Safeguard Performance and Availability of Hosted Service Infrastructure

CAMPBELL, Calif., Dec. 14, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Nimsoft today announced that Basefarm, a leading Northern European provider of operational and IT services, is deploying the Nimsoft Monitoring Solution (NMS) across its infrastructure of 3,000 servers and the services and the applications running on those servers.

NMS provides a robust, flexible solution for monitoring complex Web-based services and applications. Basefarm selected NMS for its scalability, detailed reporting and customized dashboards, which enable the company to optimize the client experience and deliver a greater range of large-scale services.

Basefarm's client base spans a broad range of industries, so it must be able to effectively deliver services with high traffic and complexity -- such as portals, online publications, streaming, search engines, and e-commerce. NMS will replace the numerous open source and commercial solutions that Basefarm had been using to monitor its infrastructure.
