WEBSTER, Texas, June 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The surgery and emergency departments at Bay Area Regional recently received a Center of Excellence recognition for patient engagement, ranking among the top in the nation.

The Surgery Department received a Certificate of Excellence for scoring nationally in the 99th percentile for patient satisfaction, and the Emergency Department received a Certificate of Excellence for scoring nationally in the 90th percentile for patient satisfaction. Both departments were awarded for the first quarter in 2017.
